Real men wear pink: Derrick Odom joins the cause

Action News Jax traffic anchor Derrick Odom is joining the fight against breast cancer through the American Cancer Society's Real Men Wear Pink campaign.

Derrick, along with 36 other men in the North Florida region, will be raising funds for breast cancer research throughout fall. He'll also be wearing pink  during newscasts on select days in honor of those fighting and lives lost.

"Unfortunately, cancer has affected far too many of us, including me. I have lost two very special people in my life to this dreaded disease," explained Derrick. "The Real Men Wear Pink campaign is all about raising awareness that this disease is still a major problem and raising funds to continue the fight."
