GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The Alachua County sheriff just released the name of the suspect, she believes, is responsible for the disappearance of Tiffany Sessions. The University of Florida student disappeared 25 years ago.

Sheriff Sadie Darnell named Paul Rowles as the suspect. He is a convicted serial killer who died in prison last year.

According to Sheriff Darnell, there is no DNA evidence that connects Sessions and Rowles. However, she said, Rowles made a journal entry on February 9, 1989 -- the same day Sessions disappeared. That journal was found inside his prison cell.

She is asking for the public to come forward with any new information in the case -- to bring Sessions' family closure. The public should call (352) 955-1818 with that information.
