Daytona 500: upper stands evacuated due to weather
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Spectators at the Daytona 500 were moved out of the grandstands as heavy rain moved in to the area.
The race was delayed due to the weather.
Everyone was moved to the lower deck as a precaution.
The storm is currently moving east.
There was a tornado warning in effect for Volusia County but was cancelled.
