JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--After more than 24 hours of being closed down, both on-ramps to I-95 are back open.

Action News was the first to break the story Thursday morning at 5:30 a.m.

A mistake by F-DOT crews caused damage to the on-ramps at Atlantic Boulevard and Phillips Highway; that forced them to close. That is because when the ground shifted, a crack opened up in the middle of the roadway.

Since Thursday, re-opening the two on-ramps was delayed five different times.

Actions News is live at I-95 and Atlantic watching traffic pick up. We are monitoring both situations and will bring you the latest information live on Action News This Morning on CBS47 & FOX30.
