BRUNSWICK, Ga. -- The National Guard will join the search for a missing mother in Brunswick.

Amber Whited, 22, left her job Tuesday morning at the Golden Isles Harley-Davidson to go to lunch and never returned.

Relatives say the guard members will meet up at Harvey's Supermarket in Brunswick.

The search will get underway at 12:45 p.m.

Amber's cousin told Action News the support from the community has been great.

"The community has been really good," said Amber's cousin John Buckland. "We're just hoping to get some more people."

Investigators found Amber's car in the 3100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., about six miles from her work.

Amber has two children. Her youngest daughter turned 1 years old on Thursday.

Call Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS if you have any information. You will remain anonymous and could receive a cash reward if your tip leads to an arrest.

While I don't have a problem with it how is the National Guard involved in this?
