Family: National Guard to join search for missing mother in Georgia
BRUNSWICK, Ga. -- The National Guard will join the search for a missing mother in Brunswick.
Amber Whited, 22, left her job Tuesday morning at the Golden Isles Harley-Davidson to go to lunch and never returned.
Relatives say the guard members will meet up at Harvey's Supermarket in Brunswick.
The search will get underway at 12:45 p.m.
Amber's cousin told Action News the support from the community has been great.
"The community has been really good," said Amber's cousin John Buckland. "We're just hoping to get some more people."
Investigators found Amber's car in the 3100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., about six miles from her work.
Amber has two children. Her youngest daughter turned 1 years old on Thursday.
