Jacksonville, Fla. -- Owners of the popular Biscotti's Cafe in Avondale are cleaning up after an early morning fire damaged part of the business.
Owner Karin Tucker reported to Action News, that she got a call around 2:00 a.m. She was told there was vandalism at the restaurant and that it included a fire.
She told Action News when she got there JFRD was on scene and had put the fire out.
The fire damaged the kitchen, some equipment and an office in the back. Owners have hired a restoration company to clean up the smoke and water damage.
No one was in the building at the time.
The State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause.
Owners say they are closed but will likely reopen in two or three days.
