JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A flood warning has been issued for parts of Duval and St. Johns counties until 4:45 a.m.

The First Alert Weather Center is tracking the continuing downpours and reports that some areas of Northeast Florida have already received four to six inches of rain. Up to another three inches could fall by morning.

Gusty winds will continue through Friday and could uproot trees due to saturated ground. Scattered power outages are also possible.

Certified Broadcast Meteorologist, Mike Buresh, advises everyone to be prepared for a slow and dangerous commute Friday morning.
