JSO officer found dead in patrol car

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A K9 Unit officer with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office was found dead in his patrol car early Friday morning, after an apparent suicide.

@ hells outlaw: show some sympathy !!! you have no right to pass judgement - none of us do. We have no way of knowing his situation and the reasons he felt this was his only option. His family and friends are suffering, and your comment will only add to that.

A tragedy for the Officers family, and JSO family. My prayers to them, and please, to all media outlets…Leave them in peace to mourn this loss. We don't need the cameras in their faces for their "thoughts and reaction" to this sad situation. This is not a "story" to be sensationalized. Peace to the family.
