they take advantage of their badges and we all know its true! when i was in highschool i always got picked on by the officers telling me i was selling pot and when he would pull people over he told me they were saying it was all me (where they would get theirs from but it wasnt actually me)! so i told him i was going to the st augustine police station to get it all settled out because none of it was true at all and he changed his story completely !!!!! he would sit outisde my house and so would other officers he would tell! i had to move change cars and everything becdause i would consider it stalking I WASNT DOING ANYTHING wrong and they wouldnt leave me alone i eventually had to leave the school because no one would stop him. i even have pictures of his slezzy butt outside my house from 4 years ago! one time i was on my back porch smoking a cigarette with a friend and HE WALKED UP TO MY SCREEN saying "your high as f*** right now i know it" i said nope bye and turned to walk away and he said good try but we have a drug dog on the way and i said show me the warrant piggy that dog aint comming no where near my house. then he had another officer illegaly search my car and pull me over because my lights were "off" but my lights were ON and he knew it too so he gave me a warning not a ticket because i threatened to sue them i was only 17 years old my car was in my moms name and he didnt even call her to ask if he could search it he didnt tell me he was calling a drug dog he didnt even ask for my registration he asked for my id then searched my car !! put you on blast officer greg suchi ! bite me piggy

maybe if officers were a little more responsible and DIDNT think they are above the law people would have some respect for them but until that i dont think anyone will especially not me. out of all the officers ive met i only respect about 3% of them. they are filthy and disrespectful. NO RESPECT until they start doing their job CORRECTLY and HONESTLY. i mean no disrespect to the officers doing their job the right way.

Or how would you like to be huddled in a closet, while some unknown person roams through your house, waiting and praying for an officer to arrive to save you...only to wait and wait because he had to find a safe place to pull over in order to pull up your address and other call information that was dispatched to him. That doesn't sound like a good idea to me! Quit trying to bash the officers and say they feel they are "above the law." Their families send them off to work each day wondering if they will ever see them again. Have some respect!

There needs to be public law that if an officer is texting on their computer at time of crashes that it needs to be disclosed. They are immune to prosecution thanks to the new texting law, and you will not see the news asking Rutherford how he feels about that. How would you like to get a knock on your door that loved one was killed in crash with JSO, or any other police office, then find out they was texting at the time of the crash and they are above the law and allowed to get away with it?
