STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Jacksonville Jaguars first-round draft pick receiver Justin Blackmon was arrested on an aggravated DUI charge Sunday after authorities in Oklahoma said he had three times the legal limit of alcohol in his system.

The former Oklahoma State star smelled of alcohol when an officer pulled him over shortly after 3 a.m., Stillwater police spokesman Capt. Randy Dickerson said.

Blackmon agreed to take a breathalyzer test and blew a .24 - three times the legal limit of .08, Dickerson said.

He was released after posting a $1,000 bond. A hearing on the charges is set for Monday.

I can not understand why his mother was smiling in the photo before and after court. He had a smirk on his face. Do they really think this is a funny situation. The kid needs help!!!

It looks like Blackmon is showing the signs of becoming an alcoholic. Lets see if OK. does like Duval courts and just give him a pat on the back and do nothing. He needs to be put into a detox program and not be allowed to play football. These people are the people for our children to look up to, like we did to the babe and so many other sports figures from the 40's,50's and the 60's, before they made all of the millions they get paid today. They seem to feel they are above the law. I am thankful that me grand children and great grandchildren are displeased with the way the sports figures are today. Mr. Khan needs to get rid of him and show the fans he meant what he said when he bought the team.

If Blackmon was arrested on a DUI charge as a sophomore in college, since his birthday is Jan 1990, that means he was underage and shouldn't have been drinking period. The Jaguars shouldn't sign him to a contract because he has shown what a dirt bag he is. Let's see if Mr Khan will stand up and show that he wants to make his team a well respected winning team.

hiltonredrum. If you think drinking yourself into a stuper then getting behind the wheel of a car is appropriate celibration for anything, perhaps you too should take a look at your drinking habits.

.24 is the sign of a hard-core drinker. For him to still be standing, let alone driving means he drinks heavily quite frequently. How well do you think that kind of a drinker will perform at the professional sports level. He needs serious help.

So what? let him without sin cast the first stone....exactly! has nothing to do with him as a football player. maybe hes still celebrating his draft into the NFL and millionaire status.
