Mom accused of snatching her own child pleaded not guilty

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The woman accused of abducting her own daughter pleaded not guilty in court Monday morning.

Charity Chatman was present in court and asked for a public defender.

Chatman was released from the Duval County Jail on Sunday.

Chatman was extradited to the jail on Feb. 18. She is charged with abducting her 6-year-old daughter Onnika after a supervised visit in December.

The Houston County Detention Center in Georgia released Chatman at 12:20 p.m. the same day she was booked into the Duval County Jail.

The next pretrial hearing is March 18 at 9 a.m.

Man, sloping enlarged forhead, small beady eyes, exagerated facial features... who "mated" with this one to have a daughter to begin with??!?!?!?!? also you can tell shes a real biotch, big time! finally after all the drama and the "kidnapping" of the child, hers or not, how in the world can they let this menace out for $500? Come on people, lets get the head out of the arese pleae! Shell be booked on murder in the next week.
