NFL reaches tentative agreement with referees
NEW YORK -- The NFL reached tentative agreement with locked-out referees. The contract would return refs to the field by tonight.
CNN is reporting the regular officials will be back on the field for tonight's game between Cleveland and Baltimore.
The league has been using replacement referees for the first three weeks of the season. A string of bad calls made the issue more pressing, especially after the controversial touchdown that sent Seattle past Green Bay in the final seconds.
