New details on why police arrested Pedro Bravo
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Pedro Bravo went before an Alachua County judge, for the second time in less than a week on Saturday.
Bravo was charged this time around with the first degree murder of Christian Aguilar. The judge also granted no bond to the suspect.
On Tuesday, he was charged with depriving a victim of medical care and given a $100,000 bond.
A police affidavit states that the Gainesville Police Department found blood on Bravo's Chevy Trailblazer and found Christian's backpack inside a suitcase in Bravo's closet.
Bravo also admitted to police to turning Christian's phone off and throwing it in the woods.
Aguilar's body has not been recovered.
Hundreds of volunteers and law enforcement officers continued the hunt for Aguilar on Saturday.
