JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police are investigating a missing person along Biscayne Boulevard.

JSO isn't releasing much information about a missing person on Jacksonville's north side, but a spokesperson said there is potential that foul play was involved. Homicide investigators have been on the scene for hours since the call went out to law enforcement as a missing person situation at 2:50 a.m.

The victim is a male who lives in the Mission Pointe apartment complex on Biscayne Boulevard. JSO has not released the victim's age or any additional information, including why they suspect foul play, the nature of the situation or any history of crime about the person or at the address.

The family of the victim called 911.
