PALATKA, Fla. -- SWAT teams and police conducted a door-to-door sweep of an apartment complex in Palatka as part of a manhunt for two men who robbed a bingo parlor.

The robbery happened just after 10 a.m. at the Bingo Palace on St. Johns Avenue.

Police say two men with masks over their faces rushed into the business, flashed guns and demanded cash.  The business was not open yet.  There were only 4 or 5 employees inside.  Two of them suffered minor injuries during the robbery.

Police tracked the robbers to an apartment complex nearby.

Police thought they had the robbers cornered in the apartment.

Authorities evacuated the complex with help from SWAT and the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.

Three hours later, police entered the complex and found the apartment empty.
