JACKSONVILLE - The watches and warnings surrounding Tropical Storm Sandy continue to grow. We now have a Tropical Storm Watch for South Florida. The watch runs from the east coast of Florida from Jupiter Inlet south and west to the Florida Upper Keys from Ocean Reef southward to Craig Key.
Watches and warnings will change with time, but these are the first advisories for the U.S. for "Sandy". Even though the storm will stay east of the Florida Peninsula, tropical storm force conditions could be felt in the watch area within 48 hours.
