on the UNF athletics website, the sophomore golfer had three consecutive top 10 finishes in 2012. She's from Port St. Lucie where she played six seasons of varsity golf at Lincoln Park Academy, leading the school to back-to-back district titles. Scripps Newspaper named her the Player of the Year as a prep junior. In October, she earned A-Sun Player of the Week honors.
According to UNF, she planned to major in sports management. UNF Athletic Director Lee Moon called Huber the most outgoing member of the team who loved the sport with all her heart.
All three died when their plane crashed into a retention pond Sunday evening, about a half-mile from the runway at Craig Airport.
Visibility was down to three miles or less due to fog, according to police.
Crash investigators with the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are expected to be on the scene sometime Monday afternoon.
Shortly before Noon, a crane with the Florida Air Recovery unit arrived at the crash site. It will lift the wreckage out of the pond.
