JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Homes are safe on the Westside after fire crews quickly tackled a brush fire near Purcell Drive and Waterloo Drive.
The 10-acre fire started near a power facility. It burned four fences and a shed. It is now contained in the swamp.
The Florida Forest Service says the fire was probably caused by high winds around power lines.
There are no reports of injuries or road closures in the area.
