A Wii fight leads to big-time prison sentence
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- An 18-year-old was sentenced to 25 years in prison Thursday, all because of a fight over a Wii gaming system.
A jury convicted Aaron Elijah Wallace of aggravated battery and possession of a firearm over a 2013 shooting.
Police said an argument erupted after two women came to his home to retrieve the console. Authorities said Wallace fired two shots at the victims' vehicle as they drove away.
One of the victims has a child with Wallace. Neither of them was hurt.
Wallace was on probation for a prior felony battery charge at the time of the shooting.
