Another West Nile victim in Jacksonville
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Duval County Health Department has confirmed one new case of West Nile in Jacksonville.
The most recent case involves a 49-year-old man. Duval County has 23 confirmed cases of West Nile Virus in 2012.
One in 150 people infected with West Nile will develop severe illness.
Experts suggest families drain standing water from their yards and cover skin with clothing or repellent.
