JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A young boy is in the hospital with serious injuries, hurt in a multi-vehicle crash.
It happened around 5:30 p.m., Saturday.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says, a van struck a car carrying five people, including an eight-year-old boy, near the intersection of Trout River Boulevard and Ribault Avenue. The car, then, rolled on its side and the child was thrown out.
The car also hit a third vehicle.
The child was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Police say all the other injuries were minor.
