ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The Bridge of Lions will be closed for extended periods overnight Thursday September 27 and Friday September 28 to allow the city to perform necessary water line repairs under the roadway at the base at the western approach to the bridge.
On Thursday night, one lane of traffic will be closed with vehicles allowed to cross in alternating directions. On Friday night, the bridge will be closed to traffic in both directions. The duration of the lane closures on both nights is from 9:00pm until 6:00am the following morning.
The closing schedule is:
• Thursday, September 27 from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Friday, September 28.
One lane of traffic will be open in alternating directions.
• Friday, September 28 from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Saturday, September 29.
Bridge will be closed to all traffic in both directions.
