Down power line causing outages for nearly 300 JEA customers

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Nearly 300 JEA customers in North Jacksonville are without power after a power line went down. 

JSO says a power line went down near Boote Boulevard and Eastport Road around 6:00 a.m.

JEA crews are on scene working to restore power to the area.
 
Nearly 2,100 homes were initially affected. 

Crews say they hope to have power back on between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m.
