Downtown Jacksonville welcomes a popular convenience store
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The popular Slurpee convenience store, 7-Eleven, will open its eleventh location on Dec. 19.
The grand opening of the new location at 9 Union St. W., begins at 10 a.m.
Local leaders, including Jax Chamber President Wally Lee, Downtown Investment Authority Chair Donald Harris, and City Councilman Johnny Gaffney, will attend.
The new store is between Union and Main streets in Downtown Jacksonville.
