JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- An escapee was found shot to death outside a Westside apartment complex.
Officers responded to reports of shots being fired after 1 a.m. Sunday at the Eureka Gardens Apartments.
Darrell Edmonds was dead in a car. Police tell Action News he escaped from the Dinsmore Correctional Facility last November. He was locked up for drugs and resisting arrest.
No arrests have been made.
