Former big leaguer Ryan Freel dead at 36

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Action News has learned that former Cincinnati Reds player and both Sandalwood and Englewood alumni Ryan Freel committed suicide Saturday evening.

How very sad. My condolences to Mr. Freels' family and friends. Really enjoyed watching him play ball and was quite proud that he was a home town kid. My prayers that you find Peace.
