JSO searching for masked shooter
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly shooting in Arlington.
Police were called to the 5000 block of Playa Way Friday night around 7:25. They report finding a man shot to death at the Monterey Arms Apartments. Neighbors were kept out of their homes while JSO investigated.
The victim is the case has been indentified as Russell Wright, 52, of Jacksonville.
JSO is now searching for the shooter. The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’6”, and having an average weight. He was last seen wearing a mask and was last seen fleeing the area from the scene headed towards the west on Playa Way. It is possible he was seen entering a white vehicle possible a truck or SUV.
