JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Jacksonville man was arrested Thursday and accused of stealing two radios worth $5K a piece from the 125th Air National Guard Wing at JIA.

A police report shows 39-year-old Robert Crowder was charged with grand theft. It states that the two Motorola radios were found with the serial numbers scratched off at the Value Pawn on Atlantic Boulevard. A detective recovered the pawn transaction and discovered that the radios were pawned by the suspect for $50.

An investigation revealed that Crowder was a contractor at the base when the radios disappeared.
