JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars are gearing up for the trip to historic Lambeau Field to play the Green Bay Packers. It's going to be a huge challenge for the defense to try and slow down MVP Aaron Rodgers and the high scoring Packers offense.

Action News has just learned of some roster changes. Quarterback John Parker Wilson was promoted from the practice squad to the roster. Defensive end John Click was activated from the physically unable to perform list. Rookie linebacker Brandon Marshall and offensive lineman Herd Taylor were waived from the roster. Wilson will wear jersey number four and Chick will wear number 97.

The Jags defense is coming off one of it's best efforts in Oakland. They forced two turnovers and came up with two sacks. The offense will have to do a lot more with the turnovers than the two Josh Scobee field goals.

Maurice Jones-Drew will not play due to the sprained foot, but Mojo is on the trip. This is a big opportunity for Rashad Jennings to make the start. It was tough going for Jennings against the Raiders. Brent Martineau sits down with Rashad for the Jaguars pregame show Sunday at 11:30 on CBS47. Jennings tells us about a turning point in his career.

The Blaine Gabbert shoulder injury is another key to this game. Gabbert will start the game and be watched closely to see if the injury to his non-throwing shoulder slows him down. Chad Henne struggled in Oakland but the hope is that he was able to take more reps in practice this week knowing he could be playing with one hard hit to Gabbert's shoulder.

The Jaguars placed Daryl Smith on injured reserve. There is a special one time exemption that could allow Smith to return to the roster. We start with the Mike Mularkey Show at 11 a.m. followed up by the Jaguars pregame show. Check out Action Sports 360 following Game 3 of the World Series on FOX30 and at 11:20 on CBS47.
