MIAMI (AP) -- The Miami Dolphins kept former teammate Chad Henne out of the end zone, making three fourth-down stops deep in their own territory and benefiting from an odd penalty in beating the Jacksonville Jaguars 24-3 Sunday.

Henne, playing in Miami for the first time since he departed as a Dolphins bust last offseason, threw for 221 yards with no turnovers. But the Dolphins turned back three scoring threats, and a go-ahead touchdown for the Jaguars came off the board because of an illegal-substitution penalty.

Ryan Tannehill went 22 for 28 for 220 yards and two scores with no interceptions to help Miami (6-8) win for only the second time in the past seven games. The Jaguars (2-12) helped their chances of getting the No. 1 draft pick next April.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars arrived in South Florida on Saturday and prepared to take on the Miami Dolphins on Sunday at 1pm on CBS47.

The Jaguars enter the game with a 2-11 record while the Dolphins are 5-8. The story line in this game is the return of Chad Henne to play against his former team. Henne started 31 games the last four season with the Dolphins before entering free agency and signing with the Jags in the offseason.

Henne will start his fourth consecutive game for the Jags since taking over for an injured Blaine Gabbert against the Houston Texans.

The Jaguars will once again play without Maurice Jones-Drew and they will be without cornerback Aaron Ross and defensive end George Selvie.

The Jags could have wide receiver Cecil Shorts back in action against the Dolphins. He missed last week with a concussion.

@c9bcrewman What are you drunk? Yeah the team has serious problems, need to make serious changes, but wishing them to leave Jax? Moron. Do you have any idea what an NFL team does for a city, and that city's economy? "The Jags give Jax a bad image". No, people like you give Jax a bad image. Spend your money however you'd like, no one is making you spend money on the Jags. You sound like a child crying after he lost a game.

same old story they lost. they are all in loser's. lol wow scoring 3 point's in 4 quarter's is quite a team effort. great all in loss. lol. we have a qb who should go back to his old team an offense line than cannot block or protect the qb,a defensive line that can't stop the run or make a tackle. the secondary can't catch or cover anyone. oh my i got beat again. lol they could of kicked a field goal but the inept line fouled up . oh my nothing new.it was a terrible coaching decision. how many time's this year have they been in the red zone and no point's? raise price's? for a team that truly stink's the organization has a lot of nerve, but they will never get a penny out of me. they need the money to renovate there million dollar home's and trade in there fancy car's they bought last year. fan's how much is your house worth and your car? do you think they care about you? if they did they would put in a better effort. but they are waiting for you to be all in line to max out your credit card's and take out a second mortgage so they can take your hard earned money to there fat bank account's. fan's spend your money on your family an you will be a lot happier and enjoy it more. they play like kitten's meow-meow. lol all in we stink. black jersey's look good on them lol. the team has set a guinness word record fot the most feeble excuse's week after week, year after year. ho hum. take this sole called team out of this country and do it soon. you give jax a bad image. all in his toy boat and set sail. lol oh yes it was a great game plan until they took to the field. then it was the same old story. we are all in loser's.
