HOUSTON (AP) - Andre Johnson caught a screen pass from Matt Schaub and ran 48 yards for the winning touchdown in overtime as the Houston Texans rallied to beat Jacksonville 43-37 on Sunday.

Schaub threw a career-high five touchdown passes, completed a franchise-record 43 passes and finished with 527 yards passing, second most in NFL history. Warren Moon also threw for 527 yards for the Houston Oilers in December 1990 against Kansas City.

Norm Van Brocklin holds the record with 554 for the Rams in 1951.

Johnson caught 14 passes for 273 yards, both career highs. The Texans (9-1) won an overtime game for the first time at Reliant Stadium.

Chad Henne threw a career-high four touchdown passes in relief of injured Blaine Gabbert for the Jaguars (1-9). Rookie Justin Blackmon had 236 yards receiving.

HOUSTON, Texas -- Jaguars rookie wide receiver Justin  Blackmon is over 200 yards and the Jaguars are leading the Houston Texans in the fourth quarter.

Chad Henne stepped in to replace starting quarterback Blaine Gabbert who went down after getting hit during a blitz in the first quarter.  Henne's thrown long throws to Cecil Shorts, and two scoring strikes to Marcedes Lewis.  Justin Blackmon scored on a long bomb late in the 4th quarter to put Jacksonville up by 14 points.

The Jaguars are seeking to snap a 6-game losing streak.  Jacksonville has lost its last four games against Houston.

The Texans go into the Jaguar game with a 8-1 record. Reliant Stadium 11-18-12

HOUSTON, TX -- The Jacksonville Jaguars are kicking off against the Houston Texans this afternoon.

It looks like a mismatch on paper with the Texans as one of the elite teams in the NFL at 8-1. The Jaguars have the worst record in the NFL at 1-8.

The Jags will play without Maurice Jones-Drew, Greg Jones, Dwight Lowery and Rashean Mathis. Other inactives for the Jaguars are D'Anthony Smith, Steve Vallos and Jeris Pendleton.

The roof at Reliant Stadium is closed and expected to be very loud inside as these two rivals matchup.

Justin Blackmon is up for Rookie of the year on NFL.com take a look and vote (for some reason you can vote as many times as you want). Prevent defense in the 4th quarter cost us that game and made it go into overtime...send Mel Tucker back to Ohio

They looked like "Jag-warriors" yesterday. Too bad they lost but Houston had all the "kitty" they wanted. I agree with the poor running play calling remark!

OK I'll start with the positive, the Jaguars actually played a good game and unlike the rest of the season they were in the hunt until the end. Sadly I blame this loss on the coaching staff, especially on offence, as you can not call conservative plays when you are having a loosing season, especially so when playing an explosive team like Houston and you only have a 7 point lead. I believe that the Jaguars should have continued throwing the ball until Houston stopped us and more importantly we need to figure out how to run the ball without always going through the center of the defense. Hey coach,, there is a whole field out there why can't the Jaguars figure out how to use more of it? Then as I’ve said before I still believe that the Jaguars need to replace Gene Smith as quickly as possible and as of yesterday I'm now starting to feel the same about our offensive coordinator,. Reason being the Jaguars play calling is normally very predictable, lacking in depth and in some cases totally lame, as was the case during the last 7 to 10 minutes of yesterday's painful loss.
