JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-- It was an argument gone bad.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, Charles Jensen retrieved a shotgun and killed his wife Karina after a fight Sunday morning.
As he stopped to reload, a witness in the garage apartment ran out and called police.
"He was located four hours later underneath a shed area. He was naked. He was taken into Shands for evaluation and booked on a murder charge," Lt. Rob Schoonover said.
In the report, it says Jensen was souped up on drugs. He was also into violent video games, which police believe may have triggered his heinous act.
Neighbors tell us off camera that the couple had financial problems and kept to themselves. When we went to the address along Julington Creek, we saw a no tresspassing sign and were told:
"It's a tragedy. No comment."
Bill Latham didn't learn the details of the murder until this morning.
"They had a helicopter buzzing around, so I knew something was going on, but I didn't know what happened," he said.
Neighbors say they'll keep their eyes and ears open -- and remember murder can happen anywhere.
"It's tough, you know. You hate to see something like that, especially in this area," Latham said.
Police say there's no record of violence between Jensen and his wife.
