LAKE CITY, Fla. – Two men from Lake City were arrested Friday on charges of possession of marijuana.
Lake City Police say 24-year-old Emanuel M. Rentz was found in possession of 94 grams of marijuana at a traffic stop.
A police officer said Rentz had more than $1,000 on him and a digital scale was found in the trunk of the vehicle he was in. According to the police department, Rentz told an officer that he iplanned to sell the marijuana to take care of his 2-year-old. Rentz was taken to the Columbia County Detention Center on an $11,000 bond.
The police department also said 19-year-old Sylvester R. Warner had more than 12 grams of marijuana on him at an apartment complex on Friday. Warner is in the Columbia County Detention Center on a $1,000 bond.
