The Jaguars always seem to find a way to loose a game and this time they did it in grand style after looking like they may actually get a West Coast win. Sadly this is the team Gene Smith built and frankly speaking they play and smell like a bucket of week old fish. How Smith keeps his job is amazing to me because if I did my job as poorly as he has I would have been fired years ago. Almost every player this man has picked has been a major let down, including but not limited to Chad Henne. Fact is Henne should have never been picked as our back up quarterback, something I said at the end of the pre-season and something that was proven on the field yesterday afternoon. This team needs a major rebuild from top to bottom and I hope someone other than Gene Smith is brought in to make that change happen. Fact is Gene Smith couldn’t spot true talent if it was sitting on his face; how many bad draft picks, uninspired players and people long past their prime does Smith get to pick before the new owner wakes up from his sleep and sends this man packing. Then in my opinion there are only about six of the current Jaguar players I would keep, the rest of them would be released and sent along their merry way along with Mr. Smith. I’m still a Jaguar fan but I must say it is getting harder and harder to admit it and like so many fans I am sick and tired of a team who finds every possible way to shoot themselves in the foot. Simple true is that loosing is just as habit forming as winning can be and Jaguars need to decide what they want to be, winners or the losers they presently are.

The game was lost before Shorts fumble,a soon as Gabbert was lost the game was over. Defense did a great job, but had to spend to much time on the field. The second half was a total offensive night mare. I almost kicked in the TV when I saw Henne throw the ball out of bounds when we were going for it on forth down. Throw the dam ball to someone, any one,at least you have a chance to make a play or possibly get an interference call.

Thought it couldn't possibly get any worse for the Jags, but of course it did; guess I'm just a fool hearted old man.

Yet another loss; but, at least, this time the Jags didn't keel over--good game.
