ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - George Zimmerman's attorney says the jailed neighborhood watch volunteer poses no threat to the community and should be released a second time on bail.

The attorney asked in a motion released Monday that Zimmerman be granted bond for a second time as he awaits a second-degree murder charge for fatally shooting 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.

He was granted a $150,000 bond last April but it was revoked earlier this month after prosecutors accused Zimmerman and his wife of misleading the court about how much money they had raised from a website to pay for his legal fees.

A second bond hearing is set for Friday.

Zimmerman's wife, Shellie, was charged with making a false statement because of her testimony at the bond hearing.

Zimmerman is pleading not guilty, claiming self-defense.
