He is celebrating with his family tonight.

With almost every precinct reporting, Leeper has nearly 70 percent of the vote.

County commissioners races

YULEE, Fla. -- Voters in Nassau County have chosen two new county commissioners.

In District 3, longtime businessman, Pat Edwards won by a big margin, taking in 75 percent of the vote. His opponent, Ronnie Stoots, is a financial adviser in Nassau County.

In District 5, incumbent Walter Boatright won by a smaller margin over challenger, Kenneth Overstreet.
NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. -- Candidates and their supporters are waiving signs during the evening commute, hoping to catch the attention of last-minute voters in Nassau County.

All eyes are on the sheriff's race. Four Republicans are running, so whoever gets the most votes tonight, will take over for Sheriff Tommy Seagraves.

It's a job that comes with a lot of baggage because of a current FBI investigation into the sheriff's office.

We've stopped by a few polling places which appeared to be pretty crowded.

More updates to follow from Nassau County.
