Local bicyclist shot and killed
PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- Police are looking for the person who shot and killed a bicyclist behind a local mall.
According to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, the shooting happened Monday between 6-7:30 a.m.
Deputies were called to Hudson Street behind the Palatka Mall. The victim has been identified as Jim Curry III.
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in this case. Anyone who may have seen Curry riding his bike near the mall is urged to call the Sheriff's Office at (386) 329-0801. You can also make an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS. You could get a cash reward.
