JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Members of a local gang, called the “Guardians,” were sentenced to prison on Friday.
According to the Department of Justice, the following gang members were sentenced to prison.
Maynard Kenneth Godwin, 33, of Jacksonville – 30 years
Andrew Chase Wilkie,31, of Callahan – 35 years
Eric Steven Ellis, 28, of Atlantic Beach – 20 years
Billy James Harper, 31, of Jacksonville – 8 years and 4 months
Brock Skov, 32, of Jacksonville – 3 years and 5 months
And 31-year-old Jonathan Hunt, another Guardians member, has not been sentenced, according to the Department of Justice.
The department said all six men violated the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act and invaded homes, robbed banks and sold drugs including cocaine and opiates.
