JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Jacksonville man was convicted this week on two counts of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

In 2010, 25-year old Corey Johnson used a handgun to threaten two brothers at the Morningside Apartments on Jammes Road. Before police arrived, Johnson gave the gun to another man to hide in the bushes near the apartment.

Johnson faces up to 40 years in prison. He will be sentenced the week of March 25, 2013.
