Man convicted in senior's murder
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man was convicted for his involvement in the murder of a 70-year-old woman.
George Peppard Landgraff, 33, was convicted Friday for his involvement in the murder of Lola Faulk. He was found guilty of murder in the first degree and armed burglary with assault or battery.
In July 2009, Faulk's grandson found his her brutally beaten and shot to death inside of her home. Her dog was also found dead.
The investigation found Landgraff and two others broke into Faulk's home. Several items were taken from the home. Faulk was shot multiple times and struck with a concrete block.
Landgraff faces mandatory life in prison and will be sentenced the week of Nov. 18.
