JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Curtis Antonio Way, 50, faces the possibility of life in prison after being convicted Saturday afternoon of second degree murder.

According to prosecutors Antonio strangled his wife to death after an argument about finances at their home along Flechette Avenue, in December of 2006. After Way's fatal actions, he went to a neighbor’s home, and called 911, claiming he acted in self-defense.

Antonio's sentencing hearing is scheduled for the week of November 13, 2012.
