New information on Clay County fatal hit and run

GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. -- The Florida Highway Patrol is looking for a dark colored mid-sized passenger car that they say could be responsible for the death of Patsy Ralph Simeoli.

Simeoli was driving her Honda Accord southbound on Russell Road at around 5:20 a.m. on August 9th, 2012, when she had to take evasive action to avoid a head-on collision.

Simeoli eventually drove off the road and hit a tree.

She was not wearing her seat belt and was pronounced dead at Orange Park Medical Center.
