Parenting is the most exhausting thing any person takes on in life. While I know it is not possible to be with the children 24/7, the adjustments one makes to provide security for them should be a priority in this time we live in. Surely this little girl probably walked to Grandma's house on many occasions, but it was this one time that she was harmed. Personally I would have never allowed my child to walk alone anywhere. Nor did I as well as with any child(ren) I was responsible for. Again this is this is why it is exhausting to care for children. Not hoover, but keeping a line of sight on their physical location. School being the exception. I pray for this little girl.

The most frightening thing a parent worries about is losing their child, or having he or she taken away by a stranger. I'm a bit worried about the safety of my kids lately.
