JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- One of the three men shot by a local security guard will be charged in connection to the shooting.
The shooting happened Sunday at 1:40 a.m. Police were called to Wacko's on the 3700 block of Emerson Street.
According to investigators, three men were shot by a security guard who had been providing security for Wacko's and Sweepstakes Internet Cafe. The three men had been involved in an altercation inside Wacko's and were asked to leave by security. When the men refused, the security guard escorted them from the property. After another fight in the parking lot, the men drove away in their truck.
According to the report, the men returned 30 minutes later. The security guard walked back to the parking lot to ask them to leave. Police say the driver, David Cisneros-Orozco, turned the truck towards the security guard and accelerated. The security guard told police he feared for his life and fired multiple shots into the truck.
Cisneros-Orozco has been charged with Aggravated Assault for attempting to run the security guard over. No charges have been filed against the security guard.
