Police searching for two robbers after two separate incidents on the Westside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police are searching for two armed robbers.

The first, targeted a Gate Station on Collins Road.

Police say the station was robbed just after 2 a.m. The robber held up the clerks with a pistol and got away with money from the register and multiple packs of cigarettes.

The suspect is described as a 5' 7" man wearing a ski mask, a black shirt with dark lettering and dark pants.

Police are also searching for the man who robbed a Hess station on Lane Avenue South.

They say the robber entered the building around 10:15 p.m. with an automatic handgun, demanding cash.

The suspect is described as young man wearing a black hat and jacket, as well as a black bandana across his face.
