Prescription drug drop-off day in St. Augustine
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- It's time for some spring cleaning of prescription drugs.
The St. Augustine Police Department will be collecting expired prescription drugs on April 27, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the station.
In conjunction with the DEA, the police will try to do their local part for a countrywide event called National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
The last nationwide drug drop-off day featured more than 5,200 locations and led to the collection of 244 tons of prescription drugs.
