Safe neighborhood unit snags burglary suspect

PALM COAST, Fla. -- Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Safe Neighborhood Unit arrested a Palm Coast man Wednesday
afternoon in connection with a recent burglary on Warren Place in Palm Coast.

Deputies stopped Frank Debisceglie, 28, in the area of Wynnfield Drive after they saw him carrying a sweater under his arm and starring at several homes.

Deputies told the Debisceglie that there had been a recent burglary in the area and that they were conducting preventive patrol.

Debisceglie said he had “work tools” wrapped inside the sweater, and consented to a seaRch.

Deputies searched the sweater and found a black beanie cap with eyeholes cut out, a large flat head screwdriver, a crowbar and a pair of gray

Debisceglie was taken in for questioning, and charged in connection with a recent burglary on Warren Place.

He was charged with possession of burglary tools, burglary of an occupied dwelling and violation of probation.
