I'm sorry to say our government is as flaky as our congress. We have laws, which are susposed to apply to everyone. We have imigration laws, which are to protect our citizens and our way of life. So WHY can't the news be reported that OUR government is not enforcing laws meant for all. Not selective enforcement where the rich, powerful, and politicians decide what is or is not enforced. Heck! Congress can't even stand up and tell the truth about stopping payments and government expansion and retain the current level. Like citizens are too dumb to understand, more government requires more taxes on everyone, and laws can be selectively be enforced or ignored. When good folks do nothing, bad things happen. Ignorance does not have benefits.

Imtellin, your wise beyond your years, but you can't tell 'idiots' the truth when it 'hurt's' them so much. The only reason, GorbulasMaggot this country is going down a 'moral and ethical downhill slide' is BECAUSE of people like these and YOU, who think they can BREAK THE LAWS FIRST and then expect us ALL to condone it and break the laws with ya.(Not bloody likely) Oh, and I did watch all the story's. this family has option's. She CHOOSES to stay here and whine and make a big issue of it instead of joining her husband who broke the law, that's her fault, not mine or the Government's. And if you want to whine for her too, that's is YOUR ethical and moral decline. NO ONE should be ABOVE GOD'S LAW'S OR MAN'S LAWS. My God, there is children starving in this country, this 'family' is being fed good, she's a lot better off than A LOT OF FAMILIES...she should be grateful and join him...or suffer through like most military family's do when missing their loved ones. Sounds to me like her husband must be facing jail time down there, and that's why she wants him back so bad.

Theres a simple answer to this whole problem, her and there child could always move to Mexico and the family would be reunited and they could live happily ever after. Then when the 10 year period is up he can apply and come back legally. I see no problem there after all the wife and child are American citizens and can return anytime they want for a visit.

imtellin, I've watched your comments over the past several weeks, and all I can say is they're pretty heartless. Understand something, I'm for immigration control. I think it's out of control in our country. But, in this case, we're not talking about a young man or a couple who is trying to live off the government; they want to do everything right. They've tried to do it right; watch all the stories. And as usual with our government, when you try to do it right they mess it up. And that's what's happened here. It is a tragedy of freedom and justice. This is just a further sign that our country is heading down a moral and ethical downhill slide, and I fear for our future.
