ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The "Spirit of the Suwannee" music park was a home away from home for thousands of festival goers last weekend. The natural surroundings of the forest was a sanctuary for folks of all ages, caste and creed. As families, friends and artists alike joined forces for the 14th annual Magnolia Festival.

The "Spirit of the Suwannee" is a special place. And, MagFest is a one-of a-kind experience, where good people and good music come together for great family fun." Brother Al Lee

MagFest 2010 hosted 40 bands during a magical four day musical journey. Bands such as, Railroad Earth, Tornado Rider, 7 Walkers, Wet Willie, Donna the Buffalo, Cornmeal, Turtleduhks, the Lee Boys & Oteil Burbridge, and Dread Clampit jammed  their hearts out, both on and off stage.

All performances, were nothing short of exhilarating!

However, Tornado Rider's Saturday night performance on the meadow stage truly took the "Spirit" by storm. The shear force of Tornado Rider's electric cello, Americana Punk Rock sound and wicked stage show swept up the crowd and blew them away... Myself included.

Like a Falcon, the "Spirit of the Suwannee" preyed on the crowd. It swooped down, plucked them up, then released them in the midst of a wild Tornado Rider windstorm.

ALERT: A Tornado Rider warning has been issued for musical thrill seekers of Northeast Florida eager to get blown away by the same stormy band that ripped the roof off MagFest’s Meadow Stage on October 23, 2010.

The Tornado Rider Fall Southern Tour 2010, is set to touch down at 8 p.m. at the Santa Maria Restaurant in St. Augustine, on Wednesday, October 27. Storm chasers will need $5 to experience the musical wrath of Tornado Rider.
